What We Love About Cervinia
Cervinia offers high-altitude, sunny, and snow-secure pistes with cross-border skiing as it directly links to the well-known car-free Zermatt. Compared with Switzerland, Cervinia offers the benefit of traditional Italian food and much more favourable prices. Cervinia itself has a pleasant size, and you can do almost everything within walking distance from your ski chalet or apartment. Walking between the slopes through the village centre, you will find many gourmet restaurants, bars, and shops. At the end of the ski day, the music is turned up and you will find a great selection of après ski bars to choose from.

Ski Scene
Cervinia is part of the well-known Valle d’Aosta in North Italy and part of the cross-border ski resort. The Matterhorn Ski area links the Italian and Swiss ski resort making it one of the largest ski resorts in the world and the highest in the Alps at almost 4000 meters elevation. Cervinia is the entry point on the Italian side, whereas Zermatt is the entry point in Switzerland. Thanks to an altitude of 3883m, skiing is possible throughout the year, with 25km of pistes available during the summer. The whole ski resort Zermatt/Breuil-Cervinia/Valtournenche – Matterhorn has 322km of pistes to offer, comprising of 75km of blue -, 220km of red – and 27km of black slopes. In addition, there are 38km of ski routes available. Cervinia is a perfect fit for all levels of skiers as there is a wide range of long, wide, and not too step pistes available, which makes a ski property in Cervinia fit for everyone. For the very enthusiastic skiers and snowboarders, the Aosta Valley offers the ultimate experience of heli skiing. There are no better slopes to get a great taste of powder skiing.
Although during the week, the resort is quieter, and more sports focused; on the weekends a fun apres ski session is not going to be skipped – either in the ‘Love Cervinia’ or ‘Lo Copa Pan’.

Summer Fun
Cervinia is truly a year-round resort with a great range of summer activities including golf, mountain biking, free-riding, and e-biking, nature walks, mountaineering and trekking at high altitudes. There are also ice cave excursions, adventure park, picnic areas, horse riding, tennis, paragliding or rafting available. On top of this, thanks to the glacier, you can ski in Cervinia from June until September, and enjoy nearly 30km of pistes! For this reason, real estate in Cervinia profits as a dual-season resort.
Also, golf represents a unique experience in Cervinia – at the foot of the Matterhorn, surrounded by a wonderful landscape, you can play on the 18-hole golf course of the Golf Club ‘Matterhorn’; this is not to forget the highest golf course in the country! The course, a PAR 69 at 5300 metres stretches along the River Marmore.
