Ski Scene

The Bregenzerwald region, beautifully situated on the northern edge of the Alps, is blessed with above average snowfall. The region has 185km of skiing on offer. 65km of blue pistes, 101km of red pistes and 19km of black pistes perfect for beginners as well as more advanced skiers. Within one hour from Egg you can find 10 high lying ski resorts, such as Damüls-Mellau, which has 80km of skiing on offer and Diedamskopf – Schoppernau, which provides further 40km of well-groomed pistes.

In addition to skiing, this diverse village also offers snowshoe hiking, horse and carriage rides, husky sledding and paragliding above the snow-capped mountains making your winter holidays even more exciting.

Summer Fun

Take a walk through stunning forests, along crystal-clear mountain streams and take a relaxing break at any of the traditional mountain huts where you get homemade cheese and traditional Austrian specialities.

For the golf enthusiasts, you can find nine golf courses within 30km of Egg. For example, the Golfclub Bodensee Weissensberg, Lindau-Bad Schachen or Bregenzerwald are all located within 20km of Egg.
